Getting from Brisbane Domestic Airport to Brisbane Powerhouse
Apart from catching a cab or hiring a car, probably the easiest and most affordable way to get to Brisbane Powerhouse is to catch the Airport Train and get off at Fortitude Valley. Once in ‘the Valley’, you would walk through the Brunswick Street mall, then cross a set of lights, walk past the Empire Hotel (which will be on the right-hand side) and just before you get to 711, wait for a bus at stop 207 (on the same side as the 711). You’d then catch the 196 bus, which will drop you two minutes away from the Powerhouse, on the corner of Brunswick Street and Oxlade Drive. When you get off, you need to keep walking in the direction of where the bus is going, then turn first left on Oxlade Drive. From here you’ll be able to see the Powerhouse, which sits just beside New Farm Park.
